Child Labor Law Notice - August 2009

Alabama has replaced the "Federal and Alabama Child Labor Laws" poster with their 2009 verison of the "Alabama Child Labor Law" poster. It prohibits minors under the age of 14 to work. It also lists the Work Time Restrictions, Breaks, and Occupations for minors.

Child Labor Law - January 2008

The entire notice has been reformatted, and now includes several types of jobs that minors are permitted to work. Hours for minors 12 and 13 years of age have been added, and provisions of the Federal law have been specified along with those of the state.
